Mai Spurlock
completed her undergraduate studies in Business and Fine Arts at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA and obtained a Master's Degree in Ancient History from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. She co-wrote the short film DOWN IN NUMBER 5, which won the 2009 King First Prize for Excellence in Filmmaking at NYU. She has also produced two award-winning short films, AFTERNOON and FISH, both directed by her sister Kim Spurlock. Mai resides in Los Angeles, California with her husband Scott and daughter Augusta.
